 Can the music industry positively impact our country’s Balance of Payments?
How many jobs can be created through dynamic and progressive entrepreneurs in the music industry?
Can there be a sustainable music industry without a dynamic entrepreneurial sector?
Will the vast talent within Barbados be optimised globally by Barbadian entrepreneurs?
Who will advise government of policy initiatives regarding the building of a music industry?
How are industry trends impacting on all of the above?
The interim Board of Directors of the recently formed Association of Music Entrepreneurs (AME) will seek to address the above questions as part of our mandate. We extend an invitation to the News Centre of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation to cover the above captioned event on Monday August 17th, 2009 at Invest Barbados conference room commencing at 10:30 a.m.
The CEO of Invest Barbados Mr Wayne Kirton will deliver the feature address at this launch and President of the Barbados Coalition of Service Industries Inc. will deliver opening remarks. Key stakeholders involved in the Creative Industries will be in attendance.
