The World Bank recently launched a new regional Development Marketplace for innovative development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The call for proposals is now open. The competition funds small-scale grassroots
development projects that have the potential for expansion or replication
and address aspects of entrepreneurship under the defined windows. The 2010
Regional Development Marketplace is focused on Youth Developing Opportunity:
Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainability.
