T he Barbadian Flying Fish, the favoured half of our national dish, Flying Fish and Coucou, usually reaches no more than a modest length of twenty-five centimeters. Under the right circumstances, however, the strongest of the species can fly the extraordinary distance of over one hundred and eighty meters in a single flight. That#8217s the length of two football fields!
The Barbadian business, though small by international standards, has flown extraordinary lengths much like our prided Flying Fish.
